Thumbs up Re: Most wanted Pre-War aircraft

How about the Hawker Fury and the Bristol Bulldog?

Why can't we have those NOW?
Bader lost his legs in a Bulldog. The Fury is simply a stunning looking airplane for its time and I'd buy both of those in a heartbeat!!

Re: Most wanted Pre-War aircraft

Nice images Shawn -- I'm still after that B-17c or early pre-war variant. Polished would be nice!! As much as I mainly collect RAF aircraft, I could see a 'theme' around the USAAF of this period -- and currently, I have none of it, BUT would like SOME of it -- starting with a B-17!

JPN

Yeah an early B-17 would be nice. And though no fan of the Nazis, the Ju-52s with the red tails do look good.

presuming the set of 'spare-legs' will be cast in Zinc, as well as the 'Bulldog' model ?

Could ALSO include them with the Blenhiem when it comes along (aka 1941 St.Omer 'drop' markings

Re: Most wanted Pre-War aircraft

I'm down with the P-6E, P-26 Peashooter and Martin B-10. I'm sure there are some cool aircraft from other countires, but those three are my fantasy birds.

Anything for a weird life.

Super ideas -- doubt anyone will bite, though. Personally, I think the Blenheim combo idea does have legs! (Forgive me Hornchurch -- I'm a sucker for bad puns!!)

P-26 peashooter would be a great choice, I think it would sell like crazy. Its the sort of item that attracts everyone, even those that dont know much about aviation, its such a well known aviation icon.

God Bless America.
