looking for military items

I'm in the process of trying to locate pilot helmets from around the world, as long as the price is reasonable. I'm also trying to locate places that sell vintage signs with aircraft and/or tanks on them. Maybe even a clock, badges, metals, officers hats etc. I saw a couple of Russian officer hats and a soldier's hemet but they wanted way too much for shipping. If you know of some place reasonable I'd appreciate you dropping me an email hawkonevoodoo@yahoo.ca or send me a PM. Thanks.

Military, any era but mostly the hard jet fighter types.

Re: looking for military items

The only flight hard hat I have is the standard Kevlar helmet. But its flown under many a T-10D / MC1-1C parachute.

Hey Hawk1, post your inquiry here: Flightgear! :: Index

I'm not a member of that forum, but most of my leads in getting information regarding flightgear and avaitor paraphenalias were obtained from the aforementioned forum above. Try it out.Good luck and good hunting!

Does anyone have a lead on where one can find a pack of the Rogue's Gallery playing cards distributed during the Gulf War (part II - the return) ... ?

Re: looking for military items

Have any of you run across any of the leaflets like the ones dropped during the first Gulf War? A friend in Intel passed some on to me (War ended so quick, quite a few were left over), but still on the lookout for some different variations.

NO!...I don't have those but I did get the "Most Wanted" Terrorists mugshots collectors edition cards
with the very limited "Bagdad Bob" ace in the hole!

Re: looking for military items

I think most of my ODS/S stuff is in Colorado with my dad. I may have a set of the most wanted cards from OIF. I have a neat Iraqi magazine article that shows Barnes from PLATOON with his .45 to the kid's head. I wonder what the spin was on that?
