Re: looking for military items

I need some help to indentify this helmet. What country and service and anything else you can provide. I believe it is Eastern Bloc country but don't know what era either.

Re: looking for military items

what does the other side look like? Right now it looks like some knock off helmet liner.

Re: looking for military items

I believe it's a Soviet Army M-60 steel helmet, and it's pretty much all I could tell you.

The only other picture is this.

Thanks very much, that's a lot more than I knew 10 minutes ago.

Re: looking for military items

Does anyone have a lead on where one can find a pack of the Rogue's Gallery playing cards distributed during the Gulf War (part II - the return) ... ?

What are you looking for exactly? The cheap-o repro cards that were on ebay for $10.00 a deck, or the "real" cards?

I don't have a deck like the one Gen. Brooks displayed on TV at the start of the war (approx. 200 of which were printed by CENTCOM using a laser printer on card stock), but I do have a deck of the cards that were sent to the US Embassy in Kuwait. These decks have the Great Seal of the United States on the reverse, not the camo pattern that is found on the repros.
