Sorry, my #14 is not for sale.

What I would like to know is how did you get a picture of my wife?

Re: Snow

I do not downhill ski, cross-country ski, sled, snowmobile, toboggan or iceskate.....that's why I live in Maine....

From Colorado and can say the same, though I can bumper ski and go tubbing.

Re: Snow

These days we get maybe 2 or 3 days snow a year!
When I was a child we would always get long periods of heavy snow. I lived up on a farm back then and it was normal to be snowed in for a month every winter.
We would always stock up with food and fuel in the Autumn ready for the snow.
1963 was a real humdinger, it snowed then froze and then we had gale force winds. The snow drifts were spectacular.
The farm had no snow at the front but it was level with the roof at the back and we had to dig a tunnel through it to get into the barn.

Now I know this will sound odd but I swear its true, I had a goat that I trained to pull a sledge. If food was running low I would hitch up the goat to the sledge and trek down the valley to the store load up and the goat would pull the goods back up the valley.

The huge snow drifts were great fun, I had a sledge , well actually it was the hood from an old car and boy did it go fast.
Anyway before I start rambling on about my youth I will just add that the photo shows how to get my dogs full attention, he who has the football has the power!
They will play football all day long, or as long as my strength lasts out.
Monty, thats the black dog is a part Lurcher cross and runs like a Greyhound so I have to send the other two on ahead before I throw the ball otherwise they wouldn't have a chance of ever getting it.

I love my dogs.

We are now looking at rain which will melt the snow and cause flooding.... send some of your Texan heat up here.

Actually, I think very few believe global warming is a myth.....many just believe that man that man has had little or no effect on it. It is well documented that the earth has had warming and cooling periods throughout its history
