Re: Snow

Nothing like a hot lady to keep an old guy warm in winter!

Sorry, my #14 is not for sale.

Talking Re: Snow

Snow what is that ??? WE don't get snow down here we get this white stuff that oh right that is snow WE just had 50 cm last week and it looks like another 50 on the way!!

Well, here in Toronto we just got whacked with our second significant dump. We only usually get 2-3 a season. This weekend (Saturday & Sunday) we got approx. 45 cms. with quite the wind. Essentially, we are buried here currently. Nothing is flying. It's no biggy, really -- all just part of life in Canada. (I'm just glad I'm not living back where I last lived in B.C. 'cause Dawson Creek (find it on your maps) would EASILY got more than 6x what we get in snow, 5x as cold and 4x as windy -- not to mention pitch black by 3:00pm during the winter! Brrrrr!)

TN -- what we got this weekend is coming your way -- get your shovels ready!!!

Thumbs up Re: Snow

My spouse and I head for Hilton Head, SC for 3 months in 13 days. Who needs snow? However, I'll miss my hanger that stays here in the frozen Finger Lakes of New York. I'm non-PC, so Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.

Re: Snow

Well, here in Orlando this morning we got some much needed rain from the same front that you folks up North got the heavy snow. The temperture at 5 PM (EST) was 66 and going down to 38 tonight. Tomorrows high will be around 59.

Did you see that "Snow Bowl" game today with the Buffalo Bills AT the Cleveland Browns? How about being in the stands with those crazed fans with all that snow with wind gusts up to 46mph? No thanks. That is what a 55" High Def TV and a Satellite dish is for.

Went to the 1995 Grey Cup game in Regina Saskatchewan in the middle of November.. It was some nasty cold wind there, gust up to 90kmh, but you just made sure you had the appropriate amount of personal anti freeze. Mine was a 26er of Crown Royal, what cold.

Re: Snow

This morning at home in Wasaga Beach on the shores of Georgian Bay. Third time in 24 hours shovelling the driveway. 23 niches of snow in 30 hours.
This is what makes us Canadians.

What do yo guys know about snow??? Here's a picture of my home I took yesterday (Can you see it??). You can judge the height of the snow by looking at the size of the cars. I don't know where to put that freaking snow anymore and we are only in december ... And guess what?? IT'S SNOWING RIGHT NOW and I'm not kidding!!! I'll post new pictures in march if I can make it this far!!!

Those of you living in down south in warm and comfy places, enjoy every single minute of it because you don't know how lucky you are!!

Happy holidays everybody!!!

Looks nice to me! Reminds where I grew up in Northern B.C.! Crisp and cold and the snow squeaked under foot.
