Re: Snow

Today in east Texas it is a little cool, but still can get away without wearing a jacket, and sunny too.

Re: Snow

At the moment its minus 4 and dry.

Groan, think of all the diecast I could get with the money spent on heating this old place.
I turn the heating down and Lorraine turns it up, tisk.

Jim, my wife and I actually do pretty well with the heat in the Winter. I tend to be colder, but am willing to dress warmly in the winter in order to keep the temperature down and same money (I try to be very frugal). Mrs. Eddie is almost always hot, so likes to keep the temp around 66. So it works out pretty well for us.

Re: Snow

I live west of St. Louis and we got 5-6 inches over two days. Kids got to go sledding and it should be melted away by middle of this week - my kind of snow!

Glad I held on to my snowblower! Even happier it still runs...

Re: Snow

Well, here in Orlando this morning we got some much needed rain from the same front that you folks up North got the heavy snow. The temperture at 5 PM (EST) was 66 and going down to 38 tonight. Tomorrows high will be around 59.

Did you see that "Snow Bowl" game today with the Buffalo Bills AT the Cleveland Browns? How about being in the stands with those crazed fans with all that snow with wind gusts up to 46mph? No thanks. That is what a 55" High Def TV and a Satellite dish is for.

Nothing like a hot lady to keep an old guy warm in winter!
