Re: P-51 & P-40 Ceiling Fans

Almost got the P-40 fan for my oldest boy's room but thought the length from the ceiling was a little long. Instead just got a plain white low profile fan .

Re: P-51 & P-40 Ceiling Fans

It would be neat to mount one of those to the ceiling, than paint the aircraft on the ceiling in such a way that it appears to be in a power dive. Perhaps one could put blinking diode (sp?) lights on the wings for the guns!

But then you have to worry about compressibility and your ceiling breaking up.

I saw one like this at Home Depot about 10 years ago. It was a Corsair and it had wallpaper like wings & tail that you adhered to the ceilng. I'll do some searching and see if I can find any photos of it.

Mrs "S" said if I got one of those she'd turn it on full speed and toss me up into the air....

And your point is? I don't see any downside to this. LOL

Don't do what BDE tells you to do. Do what BDE would want you to do.
