Since you weren't pacific ( ), I'll go with a 1:1 F6F Hellcat.

Talking Re: If you could get one plane from your wife

My wife wouldn't buy me any NEW diecast, although she did significantly contribute to my vintage Dinky Toy collection with a few minty-mint pieces last Christmas. Sweeeeet. Any idea what an A-10 condition Foden 902 (orange/green) with an A-9 box goes for on the open market? Hint: Much more than all of my RAF bombers!!!

Now if she WAS
to get me anything, I would love to receive that RAF Wellington "NO. 9 SQ." MK.IA - N2873:WS-B. And since that won't happen, I'll likely order it in January. (Great companion to my cherished Halifax Mk II. )

Re: If you could get one plane from your wife

HM's 1/32 scale Dauntless for Christmas 2008 - but I'll probably cave and get it myself before she has a chance to laugh at me for hinting!
