Your #1 pick for WWII Medium Bomber

Probably need a thread that covers WWII Medium Bombers forum members would like to see made (Wish list plane.). Medium bombers to include both twin engine and trimotor aircraft. The more specific you are as to model type and scale the better. Choice guidelines are based on the following:

1. Any twin engine WWII fighter, current models produced may not be correct variant, scale or possible quality issue with current models available.
2. Another case where scale unless specified will be considered 1/72nd scale or smaller.
3. Yep, one plane and only one plane per forum member, no lists (Easier to keep track of if only the plane you are voting for included.).

I would have to go with the Handley Page Hampden in 1/72nd scale as my first choice, and this was one of the harder ones to narrow down. Nice looking bomber with lots of glass for potential extra interior detail. Well that would be my first pick, how about you?

Basically this thread is wish list, sort of like saying you had the call on the next diecast medium bomber made, what would you pick.

Oh this IS easy!

OK -- I am going to answer your question

Swell compliment to the myriad of Lancaster owners. Who cares if it was a failure? It was an integral part of the development process that counts. Not too sure if this really qualifies as a 'heavy' but I guess when it was designed, it was. To have this one on my shelf, next to my Dams Lanc and Halifax Mk II would be very exciting, indeed!

Beaufighter would be my pick...or is that a fighter?

Torbeau would be considered a bomber, but more towards a light bomber. (And I am thinking of starting a light bomber thread too. Just want to see how handling four at a time goes.)
