Cruver is the name of the company that made the black plastic ID Models during WWII. At one time I had a collect of close to 250 of the Cruver ID models. The only problem with the Cruver ID models is that they start to break down over time(I had a B-29 and a Short Sunderland actually begin to melt down}. So I made the decision to trim my collection to just a few models, that and Cruvers can be real dust magnets. To be honest I like diecast more, a collection where all your planes are black tends to get old after awhile. | ||||||||||||||
