Re: Your #1 pick for WWII Medium Bomber

I guess it is just a case of Democracy in action, one voice one vote. Go Hampden!

Not really.

I hope you do realize that under this sytem of voting, the Hampden could win even though the vast majority would NOT want that airplane at all. For example, I voted A-26, but I'd much rather have a Betty (or just about anything else) than a Hampden. In fact, knowing the current results, I'd want to change my vote to "Betty" just so the Hampden doesn't win. But never mind...

In any event, let's be careful about what we term "democracy."

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

These polls are merely an attempt to gather a sample volume of what forum members would like to see in future diecast builds. This is a project to be enjoyed and hopefully to be take light heartedly. In no way did I intend it to be taken so seriously, but just a way for collectors on this forum to express what they would like to see produced. This is an open poll and in no way would I try to dictate how others would express their opinions, or demean their choices.

Not to take this thread too seriously, but the results are based on the choices submitted by the members who have chosen to participate. As of this time, there are less than twenty people submitting choices in this thread. There are over 850 members of this forum.
You may be right about the Hampden; I know that I would rather see a diecast Betty come along first. With that being said, unless the "vast majority" starts submitting their choices, we'll never know. You can only go by the votes actually cast...

Top Seed, J.P.N. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Top Banana !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still chuckling here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesting aside, I'm sure all the Brit's & Canucks on here want the...... er, 'Hampton' to win

Good news is - Corgi are Brit' orientated, so in reality the Hampden's prob' got 85% more chance of being made than the 'Flaming-Phallus' (Jap') !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Gee, TWO 'knob'-Gags for the price of ONE)

Hey, there are some of us south of the Canadian border and west of the UK that support the Hampton too!
