Your #1 pick for WWII Heavy Bomber

Ok, thread for WWII single & twin engine fighter has been started, but how about thread that covers what WWII Heavy Bomber forum members would like to see made (Wish list plane.). The more specific you are as to model type and scale the better. Choice guidelines are based on the following:

1. Any heavy bomber, current models produced may not be correct variant, scale or possible quality issue with current models available.
2. Scale probably not an issue, so will assume 1/72nd or smaller if not specified.
3. Yep, one plane and only one plane per forum member, no lists (Easier to keep track of if only the plane you are voting for included.).

My pick for a heavy bomber model would be the Avro Manchester in 1/72nd scale and preferably the variant with the central fin in addition to the twin rudders.
Model could be potentially produced with both tail variations. Nice looking bomber, even though it was a dismal failure. That is my first pick, so what is yours?

So if you had the call on what the next diecast heavy bomber would be, what would your choice be?

Ah-HA! This one IS easy!

OK -- there are a few left that haven't been done, but what would I lust over? I would have to answer the question
"Nice looking bomber, even though it was a dismal failure. That is my first pick, so what is yours?"
with:

1:72 -- RAF -- Short Stirling

A must have for the RAF bomber collector, such as myself. To have this one on my shelf, next to my Dams Lanc and Halifax Mk II would be very VERY exciting, indeed!

Ok, it is time for the noon bean count results for the heavy bombers. Currently we have 11 votes spread over 8 different aircraft.(B-29 has been bumped into the lead.)

1. Avro Lancaster ? 1 vote
2. Avro Manchester 1/72 2 votes
3. B-29 Superfortress 1/72 3 votes
4. Fw 200 Condor 1/72nd 1 vote
5. Mitsubishi G4M Betty 1:72 1 vote
6. PB4Y-2 Privateer 1/144th 1 vote
7. Short Stirling 1/72 2 vote
8. TB-3 ? 1 vote

Two votes snuck in under wire so had to do quick update.
