Your #1 pick for twin engine WWII fighter

Ok, thread for WWII single engine fighter has been started, but how about thread that covers what WWII twin engine fighter aircraft forum members would like to see made (Wish list plane.). The more specific you are as to model type and scale the better. Choice guidelines are based on the following:

1. Any twin engine WWII fighter, current models produced may not be correct variant, scale or possible quality issue with current models available.
2. Since looking for diecast picks, try to stick with scales 1/72nd, 1/48th and 1/32nd.
3. Yep, one plane and only one plane per forum member, no lists (Easier to keep track of if only the plane you are voting for included.).

My pick for twin engine fighter would be the Japanese Kawasaki Ki. 45 Toryu (Allied name Nick) in either 1/72nd or 1/48th scale. At this time I do not believe there are any quality Japanese twin engine fighters available and this would add some coverage to a fairly neglected coverage in Japanese aircraft. The Ki 45 also had some fairly unique paint schemes that would make for a great looking model. Well, that is my pick, what is yours?

Basically this thread is wish list, sort of like saying you had the call on the next diecast twin engine fighter made, what would you pick.

My choice would be a P-61 Black Widow in 1:48 Scale.

Re: Your #1 pick for twin engine WWII fighter

Time for the afternoon bean count on twin engine fighters. Currently have 4 votes and 3 planes.

1. Kawasaki Ki. 45 Toryu 1/72nd or 1/48th 1 vote
2. Me 410 1/72nd 1 vote
3. P-61 Black Widow 1/48th 2 votes

Had another vote sneak in under the wire (P 61 bumped into the lead.).
