Correct,nicer to shoot than an AK ,

Thank goodness! I was wondering when you'd put me out of my misery. Yep the operating mechanism is different but it still looks very similar.

A mate of mine offered to give me one of these once. The problem was that it is full auto only and not quite legal although he had a licence. Easy peasy.

A mate of mine offered to give me one of these once. The problem was that it is full auto only and not quite legal although he had a licence. Easy peasy.


Full auto is a waste of ammo....less'n you got a wild Skunk sittin' down range.

Why full auto only? Either way I'd take it. Too much history to pass up with that one.

Swedish K, if'n I'm right these were drop guns used by SOF guys in Nam. "We don't use weapons like that"

It looks outrageous, therefore must be French. MAT 29 Submachine gun.

Actually MAT 49, not 29.

Right. It's a Carl Gustav M/45.
