The other Soviet anti-tank rifle was the PTRD, so I guess this is it.

That would be correct!

Hard one to crack!

I would say definitely Russian or a deriative. Should be a TT-33 or Type 51, Type 54, M20, and TU-90.

It resembles a Spanish Astra Modelo 400, but I don't think that this is it. I'll keep checking.

Still no luck?

I can tell you it is pretty old and VERY rare nowadays.

And it does not originate in Europe.
