Price increase - what gives?

I've been trying to make a decision on whether or not I should buy a Corgi 1/72 He 111 (V1/Doodlebug version) from one of our better known online retailers - where they were going for $89.99 - when I noticed that in the last day or so the price had magically risen to $99.99 ... any clues as to why, or is this merely a sign of things to come?

One sheep to rule them all ...

If I had to guess, and this is only a guess, it is because you are unlucky, Cardo. Remember the old adage: He who hesitates is losing ten bucks.

Nay, the opposite is true o wise Canadian sage. The way I look at it, I've just saved $89.99 (+ shipping) as it's now beyond my price point for this item and I'm no longer tempted to buy one. Perhaps I'll just go ahead and buy another Carousel 1 objet d'art .

Re: Price increase - what gives?

Cardo, if you keep on not buying diecast think of all the money you'll end up with. Think, every day you don't buy a diecast that's more and more money that just falls in to your pocket and soon you should have enough money to quit your job and retire.

"How did you attain your great wealth, son?"..."Simple, I woke up every morning (early) and diligently went about my day not buying diecast, and before you know it, I had accrued a fortune"

You are a very shrewd and wise man, Cardo....Maybe you could write a book or manual or something for the rest of us...

Don't do what BDE tells you to do. Do what BDE would want you to do.

I don't get it...

Leigh-Mallory and his big wings! Might as well stay on the ground for all the use they are!

I tried rearranging this nonsensical phrase, and here's the way I think it should read: Why not diecast? See, now that makes sense.

Nrrrm! Whoosh! Rat-tat-tat!
