Quiz: Can You Name This Ship?

So far we have had a quiz section for aircraft and armored vehicles. I wonder if anyone would like to take a crack at ships. How about this ship for starters?

Hope I did not leave the name on somewhere.

German Light Cruiser KONIGSBERG (1929-1940)

Crosses on the observation plane gave it away as German and WWII. Took a guess that it was a light cruiser and vola...I love Google!

You are correct. Was looking for one of the following, the Koln, Karlsruhe or the Konigsberg were possible answers and you picked off one of them.

Here is another ship for someone to take a crack at identifying. There were two in its class and either one will do to answer this one.

Here is another ship for somebody to put a name to and there were two ships in the class also (Either one will do to solve.).

IJN Heavy Cruisers Aoba and Kinugasa.

These are getting tough (and time consuming)! I don't know how much more I can do!

Good effort on your part considering pictures and diagrams used are out of a WWII Ship Recognition guide from the mid 1940s.
