Well I know it is not the German Graf Zeppelin or the French Béarn. I must do a little more digging.

Looks to possibly be the Greek Armored Cruiser Georgios Averof.

Does not match any Allied carrier configuration or Japanese style either, more digging required.

Did a search under WWII Carriers and learned something new. Italy had a carrier in the works and it was called the Regia Marina Aquila.

HMS Caroline the last surviving ship that fought at Jutland. Now a base ship in Belfast. When she is retired there are plans to mour her near HMS Warrior as a museum ship.

After further thought, will go first with the Eclipse Class Second Class Protected Cruiser.

Nope. I picked this one to be hard. Some more hints. It is a cruiser. It was built in a British yard but it is not a Royal Navy vessel. Here is the picture again:

Yep- Italian had another carrier design as well, the Sparviero which would have been a conversion of the passenger ship Augustus. By the time Italy left the war the only work that had been done was the removal of the superstructure of Augustus.
