Thumbs up Re: perrys aircraft

This is a good thread. Not a promo for Mr. Perry, but for the diecast addict who is looking for something hard to find. Mr. Perry called me after I found and bought the French Navy Corsair for Graham in Australia. Really hard to find. So, Mr. Perry called me to find out whether I had received it.

He claims he has a warehouse full of stuff. Make sure you check with him before eBay, for he might have it--and have it for less money.

Good hunting.

Yes -- I was inquiring about shipping costs on a RCAF 'Mynarski' Lanc. Bob (I am assuming this is Mr. Perry?) called me to give me the info. Apparently he has 50 of these in stock!!! The jury is till out on which way I'm going yet. Nice of him to call on his nickel, though.

He has some very decent prices right now on Corgi B-25s Black 310 and B-52s (including Diamond Lil and NASA X-15 mother ship).)

Pappy, you have to ask yourself...will you ever see Diamond Lil at that price again...?

Re: perrys aircraft

If you're any kind of a BUFF fan at all, the answer is YES....The "Big Belly' D in SEA camo will always be the quintessential B-52 IMO, and I think the pooch did a nice job with it.

Re: perrys aircraft

Maybe I'll take the risk then... I'll just tell the missus that I'm going to sell my Castle AFB B-52 to make room for it, I would really like to have a Vietnam scheme instead....

If I don't post for a couple days, send the National Guard.

<$30 if memory serves. To be fair it was and is missing one of the 3 external bomb clusters. It must be somewhere in North Vietnam is what I tell everyone.

Like anyone looks at my models or asks.....
