Re: Quiz: Can You Name This Tank Or AFV?

Close enough Shawn. It's a Type 74, the one with an elevating or lowering suspension. Now for a modern era APC--this time an easy one. What's this?

British Warrior AFV. I built a plastic model of this AFV as I doubt it will ever be in diecast.

Correct. This one is rated as one of the best of its type and was originally developed for the Swiss, who turned it down. Now here's an interesting golden oldie.

M103 series Heavy Tank

That's it. A failed attempt by the U.S. Army to counter the Soviet's Stalin and T-10 heavy tanks in the 1950s. Here's a neat little Cold War armored car to name.

Ferret series armored car.

Actually this is a cousin of the Ferret series. It's a Fox light AC with a Jaguar engine that allows it to do 65mph on road surfaces. In a similar vein, here's a WW II tank that performed similar functions.

Yep! It's the Lynx or Luchs, to the Germans. Here's an imposing looking modern APC to name.

Is that an early CV90-series? Because that's my only guess. I thought I'd be good at this game!
