Re: Quiz: Can You Name This Tank Or AFV?

Regarding the three-part question, these are the M-18 Hellcat, M-18 Achilles with 17 pounder gun and the M4A3 Sherman. The commonality is their 76 mm cannon.

Correction. Make the Achilles an M-10.

Correction. Make the Achilles an M-10.

You have the M-18 and the M-10 correct.

I still have the Dinkey Toy version of this one. Always referred to it as the scout car.

Re: Quiz: Can You Name This Tank Or AFV?

Regarding that odd looking Sherman, is that a Panther turret on it?

That is actually a pure United States design. The basis for its design is the answer to the second part of the question

Re: Quiz: Can You Name This Tank Or AFV?

Here is an easy multiple question one. First part is name each of the vehicles and second part is, what do they have in common?

From the top:
M18 Hellcat 76mm tank destroyer, US
Achilles MK IC 17 pounder ( not IIC because it looks like the early turret ) tank destroyer (British modified US M10)
M36B1 90mm Tank Destroyer ( a M36 turret on a M4A3 hull ), US this one has the post war/ Korean War 90mm with bore evacuator
Aside from being Tank Destroyers, they all served in WW2
