Agreed--to a point. The individual players (often paid vast sums of money for their "performance") also need to be held responsible for violations of the largely unenforced league rules, and--more importantly--the law.

I'm glad that I grew up watching Hank and Eddie hitting them out (as well as smashing frozen rope doubles) in Milwaukee. The steroid/HGH/whatever-else-they-take clowns are a true disgrace to baseball--the old baseball that I love.

Heck no i'm only 44......But i have watched all the old timer games on ESPN2 and it just looks like it was a great time to be a baseball player back then....Now it's all about money...
