Re: P40s OK

Jim,

Awesome collection you've got there - makes me jealous. Love the P-40s. What brand and scale are they and did you do the decorating yourself?

Pictures aren't bad either.

Re: P40s OK

That is a weird looking P-40 Jim. It reminds me of those mad old geezers that you see around wearing baseball caps with festooned with badges

When I bought my place Lorraine asked if she could help with the painting, I gave her a brush and paint and said paint that wall. When I returned I found her covered in paint, the floor covered in paint but not much on the wall.

However all was not lost as I found her real forte in life.
I gave her a hammer and chisel and told her to rip off all the old plaster of the walls in the staircase,(Victorian horse hair and lime type plaster pressed onto lathes or wood strips nailed to walls).

Boy o Boy was she good at that, She hammered and chiseled all day ,plaster flew like shrapnel everywhere, the cats moved out and the neighbours too.
By the end of the day she had stripped one whole wall down to bare stone.
When I went to check out her work she was standing in a pile of old plaster with a big grin on her very dirty face.

This is fun, then she said have you got a bigger hammer and chisel!

Look you are making me digress again, now be quite while I try this!

God Bless America.
