I'm not a regular customer at Target, Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, so I'm curious:
Do these stores ever have before/after Thanksgiving and Christmas sales involving 21st Century, Blue Box and Forces of Valor replicas?

Also, do internet dealers such as Badcat, Smalljoes, Flying Mule ever have regularly-scheduled clearance sales?

It seems somewhat random when some on-line retailers have a sale. And some have great prices year-round.

I saw Target had their 1/72 figures on sale once. That's the only time I've ever seen a sale on FOV.

The WALL STREET JOURNAL radio reported retail sales are very disappointing this year and many retailers will offer internet-only specials around Thanksgiving to boost sales. Since Wal-Mart, Target and ToysRUs are among the retail heavyweights, maybe they will have internet specials including replicas.

was it from the price of gas just to get to a store to purchase a new diecast? that's what does it for me.

Just came home from the local Target, they had some items but not a bunch. They have been getting better the past few months. Also stopped by the local Tuesday Morning today and they have ZIP! Nothing, nada for any diecast including armor. Hopefully soon.
