Yes, he's real. He is a Shih Tzu.

Puppies are great. I'm teaching him NOT to chew on everything. And the housebreaking is going quite well.

He wanders over and smells my diecasts every so often, and my wife yells at him. He'll figure out not to smell them one day.

Re: On a serious note: Is diecast collecting an obsession and/or addiction?

I tell my wife you can sell my collection when I am dead. My hobby doesn't take me out of the house and is not nearly as expensive as other hobbies. And it's not as if I am spending the money on alcohol, gambling, and other vices. I'm just spending it on a lot of diecast and plastic military vehicles...

Here's my other hobby...raising a 3-month old puppy

Now that is a good looking pooch!

Got any pictures of this one with the landing gear extended?

Thumbs up Re: On a serious note: Is diecast collecting an obsession and/or addiction?

Seriously, that is one sweet pup! My collie ('Lassy-type') was a real cutie. He grew up to be a prince of a dog. Warm, friendly personality. My Scottie dog was also a cute pup that remained an imp all of his life! He went everywhere with me. I miss them both for different reasons. Cherish this time!!!

Cute pup, but is there a safe shoe in the house? It looks like there is a lot of mischief in that little pooch's face.

There is no safe shoe or pant leg in the house.

He's a five pound terror about 1500-1700HRS. That's when he's cranky because he's hungry and awaiting his evening food bowl. The wife and I paid $100 for puppy training to get him to stop the chewing and aggressive play.

Re: On a serious note: Is diecast collecting an obsession and/or addiction?

It's an obsessive addiction.
I am done buying new models for 2007... My girlfriend has stopped smoking a month ago and hasn't smoked since. I really should be able to stay away from diecast...

The 2008 pre-orders don't count of course..!

Can we try with real bullets now?
