Not to worry, Skunky, at least you didn't have a copy of "UK Leather & Whip" stuck between the pages, like jim did that one time....

They tend to be too out of date for my taste.

I know. I have a very weak since of humor.

Yeah, I read Aviation History and Flight Journal too. Also Air Power History and Air Force.

Re: Does anybody here read world war two mag's

I used to subscribe to a wide assortment of such magazines, however, their business models require them to farm out many of their editorial pieces to relatively cheap free lancers, which results in a lot of hackneyed articles, plus an occasional interesting one. For a while, I bought such publications to peruse ads for new diecast and other hobby-related products, but the Internet now does that for me a lot more effectively. So I'm down to a select few--notably "FineScale Modeler"-- not because of its ads but rather, for some of its pictorial reports, kit reviews, etc. These are a great source for interesting color schemes.

Re: Does anybody here read world war two mag's

I read FlyPast and Aeroplane to keep up with the British POV, always a keeper those mags and I wish I could own every issue.

I also buy any Wings or Airpower from the '70s or '80s I can find at used bookstores. I have about half of all the issues and the collection of photography and articles is invaluable.
