YOu should check out the wall mount CD/DVD bookcases at Ikea... can't recall the name at the moment but they have 9 glass shelves and are about 5 inches deep and 18 inches or so across with a glass door... pretty subtle if you're cramped for space and they can fit 3 or 4 1:72 fighters per shelf... or 6 1:72 tanks...

I've got 35 in one of my Detolfs, including a GMP Mustang alone on one shelf. I have modified two Detolf cases by adding just 4 more shelves in for a total of 7 shelves plus the bottom. If I crammed them in, I could likely fit in 40-45 planes.

Hi Pappy , I have one of those CD bookcases and they are just perfect for the job. I will post pics soon.

Gave my CD cabinet to my wife in return for a De Tolf. I have 3 of these cabinets converted to 7 shelves. My MTO collection consists of 41 models of varied scales. Both in flight and parked.I had thought of an eighth, Being that it would be closest to the floor and only viewed at a distance,I decided not to.

I've got the majority of my 1/72 models in an Ikea Bille bookshelf the glass shelves and doors. But the bigger bombers don't fit in there because it isn't deep enough so they are in a Detolf. I've been eyeing the CD wall mouting shelves for my 1/1250 ship collection or my 1/400 airliners.

That is some of the Corgis and the WWII Dragons, the rest are elsewhere with the trucks and cars and yes, I do have a problem, my house is too small.

That's awesome Horrido! -- thanks for reposting these, I remember them I think from MH I ... I think I would like to add at least two more shelves to my Detolf now...
