Guilt by association only works one way with Liberals? Extreme liberal or not, they and thier less extreme friends are 2 down, 4 across and 8 the up.

1948, you are certainly entitled to you opinion, as is anyone, but there is no need to get mean about it. Unless, of course, your kidding about it, and forgot the smiley face.

Re: San Francisco Seeks to Ban Terrorist Blue Angels

Agreed. I remember last year, one of the members of the SF Board of Supervisors, was on Hanity and Colmes. He was trying to defend the BoS position to prevent a USN battleship from docking in SF. Alan Colmes, a liberal, pretty much ripped him a new one. The members of SF BoS are a remarkable group of blithering imbeciles. They represent a radical extreme much futher to the left than even John Kerry or Ted Kennedy.

How did these people get their jobs? Were they appointed into office, or were they elected? If they were elected, the people should demand a change.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: San Francisco Seeks to Ban Terrorist Blue Angels

The basic problem we seem to have is this penchant for pinning labels on eachother which seem to preclude rational discussions. Liberals, Conservatives, etc. Who cares? The point of this thread was the attempt to ban the Blue Angels' airshow in San Francisco not whether the citizens of that city love their country. I have no doubt that they do, but some of the people who purport to represent them seem to have gone overboard trying to make political "statements"- in this case against the Angels- to fuel their opposition to Bush and his Iraqi adventure, which I, for one, believe has been very badly mismanaged. I was a dedicated Liberal for twenty years, until I finally wised up and realized that most politicians- of either party- simply can't be trusted. Too bad our system is designed to perpetuate the current two-party setup. We could really use a third party that deals with each issue on its merits and stands for the increasingly disgusted yet still silent majority.

Epapazian, I hereby nominate you for Diehard Diecast Party's presidential ticket. You've got my vote from that post alone!
