San Francisco is a great place to visit, but I would never want to actually live there. If you want you can visit the Bay Area, go visit the USS Hornet in Alameda across the bay, stand her flight deck and see San Francisco without setting foot in it.

The counsil is contemplating a sidewalk tax for those lined up outside concert halls,theatres, etc., The majority holding sway are left wing loonies. The city is going to hell in a hand basket. Texas may be big, but not as big as the Taxes here!!!!!!!

Agreed. I remember last year, one of the members of the SF Board of Supervisors, was on Hanity and Colmes. He was trying to defend the BoS position to prevent a USN battleship from docking in SF. Alan Colmes, a liberal, pretty much ripped him a new one. The members of SF BoS are a remarkable group of blithering imbeciles. They represent a radical extreme much futher to the left than even John Kerry or Ted Kennedy.
