Skunky and Top Hat are just jealous Jim because they ain't got C1's spectacular Tomahawk / P-40B and GMP's spectacular P-40E.

Elmer, I think the Skunk's fumes tricking your mind into believing that he's got that C1 P-40... don't fall for that!

In 1/48, right now I'll just go for the new HM Griffon Spit. Don't have anything in 1/48 but that'll force me to change tack.

ZS-VAN, forego any new 1/48 diecast spending in favour of Carousel's FW190Ds Yellow 10 & Red 4 .

Ok Skunky... where did you borrow it from??

Actually, I remember a post you made (waaay back) defending C1's P-40. Someone posted a complaint that the nose guns looked shabby (I think the opinion was based on Pappy's pictures on his web-site). You praised the model and indicated you couldn't really see the gap from normal viewing distance. Based partly on your post, I decided to take the plunge for Boyington's Tomahawk. I never regretted my choice; I think it is one of C1's finest, and one of the finest diecast pieces on the market. I wish C1 would expand the P-40 line with more AVG liveries and more RAF sharkmouthed liveries.

Ok Cardo... here is a bit of your own medicine:

Do you have Barkhorn's D-9 yet? If not, forego any new 1/48 diecast spending in favour of it!

Thanks for that Elmer!

Lately I've been considering the Barkhorn version but have yet to take the plunge (they're not cheap and postage is a pain) .
