Oh, I do! If you think he looks good in a flight suit, you should see him in heels.

Now be nice guys "No funny stuff " and please stay on the topic.
Thank you.

Anything so long as it isn't British (Spitfire right Swoop?), Russian, Italian, German or Japanese. I'll vote for something Navy, say oh a Hellcat 3 tone with cat mouth and red outlined insignia. Maybe a Hellcat, then there is a Hellcat.

Re: Which WW II Diecast Planes Would You Buy If Offered For the First Time In 1:48 Sc

How can you ask us to choose only 3?

Well, I guess my 3 choices would be....I-16, I-16 and I-16.

But I would also choose MC202, Kingfisher and Typhoon.

Re: Which WW II Diecast Planes Would You Buy If Offered For the First Time In 1:48 Sc

If it is done well with some attention to detail that a 1:48 scale model needs, I would buy ANYTHING. Let us not forget that there is NO well done P-51D in 1:48 scale. Also, there is no F4U-1 / F4U-2 (birdcage Corsair). FM/A's Corsair looks real "iffy" to me. The canopy of the F4U-1A looks like a later model Corsair -- I suspect the accuracy of FM/A's Corsair (perhaps trying to claim several variants using the same "stock" molded pieces??).

I only do 1/48 bi-planes so of course the Swordfish , Gladiator,Henschel, Stearman, oh and the Willow.

Hey Louie... How about a Curtiss P-6E Hawk or a Boeing P-12?
