Chinese Manufacturers Using Lead Paint? Corgi? Dragon?

With the recent slew of announcements regarding defective, flawed, poisonous products arriving on our shores from China, I got to thinking about my hundreds of models. Are they using lead-based paints? Has Corgi or any other manufacturer addressed this?

I don't think the paint is lead based, but if it is, it shouldn't hurt you unless you lick your models..

Actually it may be of some concern to those guys refinishing their models by sanding for repainting.

Well if it's lead paint...I bet we won't be seeing the diecast here in the states anymore until they take the lead out of the paint.
I'm sure it's lead free.... most are now days....But who knows for sure.....
