Heard about this plane the last 2 nights on the National News. Looks like a dream with lots of room! Especially when flying across the 'pond'.

Re: A Beautiful Bird: Boeing unveils 787 Dreamliner

Any maker planning to release this in diecast? I'm not really into jet liners but for this beaut I'd make an exception!

Any maker planning to release this in diecast?

Gemini Jets has a mould - released either late last year or earlier this year. They already have several liveries available.

Very cool bird! Not quite as radical as the original concept though. Seen a 1/400 model of that and it looks super cool.

Re: A Beautiful Bird: Boeing unveils 787 Dreamliner

Boeing just keeps on making big beautiful birds.

My first flight in a Boeing was in 1973, the plane was the superb 707.

That was a special day and one I will never forget.

Looking out of the plane and seeing the Alps below and the sun shining off those graceful wings.

Too cool for words.

God Bless America.
