The GE Fabbri line, released under the Air Combat Collection name in the UK & the US, is similar to the Italeri line but the castings are no the same. Although many of the aircraft look superficially the same, the castings are definitely different. The most obvious differences are the P-51 (an early razorback model) and the P-40 (Plastic canopy that includes the transparency for the rear view panels, that are cast solid by Italeri). By the way Epapazian, you mentioned an A-7on an earlier post, it is in fact an F-8 Crusader.

You are right. I just took another look at it and now have it in a display case. The two are quite similar and the Italeri packaging offers few clues about a plane's identity under such circumstances---unless you use a magnifying glass.
