Why we honor our veterans

Enough said.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

I love it when i see Robert Morgan doing that low flyby after they did their 25th mission..
That is a great clip why we honor them.

I've yet to sit down with my copy of that film. But everyday you wake up free is a good reason to thank a vet, past, present and future.

Re: Why we honor our veterans

I think one of the most significant moments of that film is when that very young flyer looks at the camera with so much anger on his face.

Those brave young men never sought the limelight they just got on with the job.

I have so much respect for those men/boys.

God Bless America.

Re: Why we honor our veterans

With November 11th fast approaching we must all remember those brave men of World War 1 & 2 who gave their lives for our freedom and liberty. No honour could be good enough to mark their sacrifice. There is also little tribute paid to all those who were scarred mentally and physically wounded. They must also be remembered fully.

Re: Why we honor our veterans

Thanks for sharing that clip, MD. The fighter boys got most of the glamour, but I have all the respect in the world for the Bomber boys! Tough, dangerous job.
