See, normally I hate picking favorites, and there are a lot of planes I like, but this is one area where I do have a Numero Uno: the Spitfire! I remember reading the Time-Life WWII volume on the Battle of Britain again and again and again as a kid. I loved the photos and the desperate romance of it all. Still do, I guess, even though now I'm old enough to know how awful war is. And the Spitfire is such a beautiful plane...
(I've had a little of the ol' tequila. Well, the reposado tequila, anyway.)

The low and slow Fairchild F-24 with 200hp Ranger engine with a maroon and cream paint scheme.

Based purely on the above, I would have to say...The RF-4C, it's a plane piloted by an unarmed crew, ...

Corgi ought to be able to do one of these, as none of the crewmembers of any of their Phantoms seem to possess any arms.

Simple (if only one). My avatar as well . . . the Bristol Britannia 300 series. Then there are the WWll bombers, cold war fighters . . . Oops!

If I could have only one, it's a Flying Tiger P-40B for me. Close contenders are the FW-190D, MC-202, Zero ( A6M2), BF-109E-4 and F4U-1A.
