Worst aviation/aircraft related films you have ever seen

With a tip of the hat to tank nut, what are the worst aviation/aircraft related films you've seen?
Iron Eagle-don't know how many they've actually made; I've only seen the first one. I figured the sequels probably sucked as bad as the original...
Interceptor- Gotta love the way the bad guys crawled down the refuelling boom to take over the C-5...

The Iron Eagle films are definitely on top of my lists of the worst kind, but I relish watching it only for the IAF F-16s, Kfir Mirages and F-4Es, and also the WWII warplanes towards
the last IE III film. There are also some B-grade movies made like "Stealth" and some others I can't recall at the moment that just sucks!

All of Iron Eagle films was boring movie but i did like watching the fighter planes when they did have them on there...
I would also like to say X-15 was another not so good popcorn movie that could of been better with the cast of actors they had in it...

Re: Worst aviation/aircraft related films you have ever seen

It may not have been one of the worst aviation movies I have seen, but not in my opinion leading the pack either. Catch 22 had some great B-25 shots, but not enough to make it worthwhile.

Re: Worst aviation/aircraft related films you have ever seen

As much as I love the movie, I have to say Midway has the worst aircraft continuity sequences ever pieced together. Never mind that Helldivers and Hellcats weren't in service yet, but having a F4F taxi out as a Hellcat, lift off as an Avenger then crash back as a Helldiver... that's too much.

Accuracy aside, I love the movie for its coverage of this great US victory at a tough time in the war.

Not sure if my memory serves correct, but think I remember some of the Dauntless shots looked like Vindicators. There were Vindicators in the battle, but they fley out of Midway.

I forgot about Midway. I would rather have a root canal than sit through that movie again!
