[quote=Louie;95753]I think they should combine some of those reality shows and do new ones for example:
So You Think You Can Drive

They need to make one called "We'll Teach You How To Drive"- and make every driver in Delaware appear on it! Teach them that stop signs and yield signs are laws, not just suggestions...

Re: "Dogfights!: Season 2 on the History Channel

Did you guys see "The Nightfighters" episode on Dogfights last Friday night? What did you guys think of that episode? I am
just mildly disappointed that they've only shown 1 segment of the P-61 Black Widow getting an 'easy' kill. I did like the Hellcats
segment shooting down those Rufe floatplanes, though.

I think it is tough to do a show on such a specialty arena of warfare.. That is probably why the show covered 3 eras of nightfighting..

Re: "Dogfights!: Season 2 on the History Channel

They're replacing the series with old episodes of Roseanne....Ya know how you can find just about any damn thing but music on MTV these days?....History Channel's going down the same path.

Well, the rumor of "Dogfights!" impending demise was apparently not exaggerated. If you like this show, email thc.viewerrelations@aetv.com and tell them so. The more the merrier!

Well I did fire off an email but doubt very much it will have any effect. It's just so sad...

Re: "Dogfights!: Season 2 on the History Channel

This will make Dog Fights the most wanted DVD series to order from the Hitler Channel. Maybe the Military Channel can pick up where they left off.

Re: "Dogfights!: Season 2 on the History Channel

No future broadcasts noted on the series web site, and no response from any of the Digital Ranch gang.It looks as if we may have seen The Last Dogfight! I believe the last new episode was "Night Fighters". Should have known better about this series, since the most recent show was a rerun from the first season.

Re: "Dogfights!: Season 2 on the History Channel

Here's an update from someone who's got contacts at the Digital Ranch studio that produces the "Dogfights" episodes...

"For reasons unknown, last month or so the network shifted nights and times, cancelling some programs along the way. No surprise, therefore, that ratings are down, and now a third season is in doubt. I saw the potential list, and there were some hot topics."

"DR is finishing work on 8 episodes that have not aired. They WILL be broadcast but the History Channel is reassessing how they will roll out the remaining episodes."

"Meanwhile, DR will let us know when plans for the remaining episodes are finalized."

Hopefully, we will see further announcements from the History Channel network as to the fate of the series. I would really hate to buy an incomplete Series II DVD set next year!
