What ever happened to the P-61 being produced in both 1/48th and 1/72nd scales? I heard that there were two companies doing tem, but I have seen nothing. I know there was a ton of interests for them.

That P-61 project is still pending i have been told.....2008 could be the year of the Black Widow....
I think what we have here is that so many other planes were already on the list to be made and all these other paint schemes have to be made first...
that it takes time for a new product to come out ....But i have to tell ya it's been a long wait and i was led to believe that about this time we would see one by now..
But i have a little faith left that we will see one in 2008...Hopefully...

If they do make one, I hope they do one of the earlier olive drab versions. The earlier OD version is the one I would want.

If Eagles Int'l makes their P-61 in 1/48, they will definitely produce a Reporter version as well.

I think Eagles will do a great job on this bird, I also think you're gonna be 2 years older before you're hands get colder, Black Widow style...

I would think that they would do an O.D. one and a black one. I want to see the glossy black ones. But the O.D. ones, and the reporters would be cool to see.

You know guys we all have done our part to try to get this done last year....
i just went back and read the old thread i started over a year ago and they do have some great pictures of the P-61 Blackwidow on there that we all posted..
