How about some Vietnam USN Riverboats

Call this a personal request, but I'd like some 1/72 or 1/35th scale diecast Riverboats used by the navy in Vietnam. PBRs, Monitors, ATCs, Zippos etc...
The idea might float, pardon the pun.

Re: How about some Vietnam USN Riverboats

Oh yeah. And also a WWII PT boat.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

I'd buy both of those! I knew a gentleman who was in the Brown Water Navy in Vietnam - he had fascinating stories.

What do you think of this? This River Boat is made by Figarti Miniatures. Right now it is on preorder for $199. I really don't have many details on it yet. Actually these pictures were taken at a show by a collector. If anybody is interested let me know and I will try and get more details. The base comes with the boat and they are in two separate pieces.

Thanks
Ronnie

Nice looking PBR, but a tad expensive. I'm more interested in a Monitor. My father served with TF117, he ran the 9th Infantry Division up river.
