Shawn, I rather like the Brewster Buffalo. Posh Spice is not everyones cuppa tea. She looks like a PULL- THRU for a rifle.

Looking at the title of the thread the first thing that sprang to mind was the Barracuda! Got to say that BV141 if dam ugly too. Gee, I'd have to fly something that ugly! I'd be too embarrassed to get out after I landed and came to a stop after taxiing. Some Italian & Russian bombers were pretty ugly too.

Aircrafty, I think I am going to have to go with you on this one. That thing is just ugly.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Yep, ugly indeed but it's a huge transport. The Barracuda was a single engined torpedo bomber. How difficult could it be to make it look nice? Check out this link. http://www.militaryimages.net/photop...php?photo=7733

Now, would you like to be seen dismounting that thing? I read once that the ground crews thought it was so ugly they didn't think it could even fly!

Thats why she had those 2 plastic bumps grafted on, she kept falling through grates in the pavement/sidewalk!

God Bless America.

You may have picked the winner. This monstrosity looked like something Godzilla would fight in the classic Japanese "sci-fi" pic "Godzilla " saves Tokyo from "Rodan".
