This is great fooball to watch - this is the season that truly captures what Lou Houltz says all the time on ESPN's College Football Final: "Its a different team that shows up every week,"

I'm a Volunteer fan -
How about that SEC? - you never know who's going to beat up who from week to week.

The PAC-10? Who would have thought ASU (where I work and am also a fan) would be ranked #4 this week? And they beat Cal 31 -20?

Great season - this is why college football is my favorite sport. I'll watch just about ANY game.

(Anyone catch the play - 2 seconds to go - 14 laterals (?) touchdown play to win the game - this week? I thought I was watch rugby are something )

I love college football too but its been a long time since my boys have been of consequence in football... basketball is usually where we make our bones but this year is AWESOME!

I get that question asked almost every time I tell someone that I'm an alumni of OSU. Well from what I know is that it's the official name of the school. There is also an Ohio University. Plus it also differentiates with other OSUs out there. I've also heard that it all started with some of the football players in NFL (former OSU players) doing their own introductions this way, but I don't think that that is the real reason for the "THE". Like I said, it is the official name of the school. Please do correct me if I'm wrong my fellow Buckeye fans.

PS - The "THE" also tends to annoy some fans of other schools because it gives an impression that Ohio State thinks that it's high and mighty, to which I just usually shrug my shoulders
