We all have our dream models! Going off on another tangent, if Corgi (or anybody else) gets really serious about releasing a range of Soviet aircraft, I'd like to see a decent IL-28 Beagle model. It was the nearest Soviet bloc equivalent to the Canberra, it served a long time, and it was widely exported. And that's not counting the ones that the Chinese built!

| Re: Recommending Planes For Corgi's 2008 Diecast Lineup Of course, it would be nice to have some more jet bombers to complement the B-52, Vulcan, Victor, and Canberra. The B-57 bomber versions, it seems, can be made relatively easily. The B-58, Tu-16, B-47 and Mirage IV also come to mind... | |||||||||||||

I would 'second' the B-58 Hustler!! I don't think there was that many variants to make a line of models from, though, was there? The B-52 has quite a few. (The original Northrop Flying Wing would be cool too -- prop ot jet)

Yeah, it would have to be an "A" model, and in a natural metal scheme. But, there's enough individual markings to cover the minimum 6 schemes required. I'd easily buy a half dozen different Hustlers, if somebody made a model that was good and not super expensive. An original Flying Wing would be cool, too. As would an XB-70. The only way those would be made is if a company did a range of limited run experimental/prototypes...

Reason: spelling
I second that plead . . . I know a few guys in my social circle who would buy a couple of those each -- sight unseen.
