Evacuate! You can only bring one!

With all of the wild fires raging in California and my living in hurricane prone South Florida, I started thinking. If I had to suddenly evacuate my home and I could only take one of my treasured models with me, which one would I take? Picking my favorite model is like picking my favorite song but...I would take my custom Marushin Zero (see my avatar) of course for sentimental reasons. But my best model is my Eagles International "Capt. Don Gentile" P-51B. Which one of your models would you take?

Re: Evacuate! You can only bring one!

I'll play.

If I take my Franklin Mint B-24 I won't make it 20 yards, so I'm stumping for my FM Hurricane and I'm out the door...

My review of it's here:

Re: Evacuate! You can only bring one!

This is not a fare question.

I could grab my 1:72 Scale B-17 Bit O' Lace bomber, or for the size and weight of that one plane I could take the equivelent of my 1:72 Boyington Corsair, 1:72 Bong P-38, and my 1:72 P-51 Creamer's Dream.

But if I have to play by lanslides rule, then I guess it would have to me my 1:35 GMP Texas Longhorn P-40. Afterall, my wife is from Texas, she is a longhorn, and I will still want to be able to play with her...um...assets after the fire.

Re: Evacuate! You can only bring one!

Since you all dread the thought of losing your collections I have come up with the following solution:

1.... pack up all your models

2.... send them to me

3.... I'll display them and care for them as if they were my own

4.....you can come and visit when you get anxious

5.... don't forget to have new purchases re-routed to me

By the way, you will probably have to send me your display cases, mine are full.
