Cav you just cannot beat a good strong Yorkshire lass. These girls are raised tough by their mothers, they can cook, plough and wash clothes all day without a break.
You should see Lorraine swing an axe, she can chop lumber all day without raising a sweat and still find time to feed the pigs and muck them out.

I dont know what I would do without her.

However I never allow her near my diecast, I will tell you a true story.
When we moved house the last thing to take from the old place was a Corgi Me109 that resided on top of the TV. I loaded the TV into my car and Lorraine went on ahead in my friends car. Before she left I gave her the 109 to hold carefully on the short journey.
When we arrived at the new house I asked for the Plane and to my horror saw that all the bits were missing. They are dangerous she said ,they were sticking in my hands so I broke them off!!!!!

Aaaaargh.

I'm sure you would skunky as the wife would be making you do all of the work and then some, hey what was that reality show called when the swaped wifes??? You could bring jims wife over her and send the wife over threre and rest your poor head for a week or two

I forgot to tell you guys that she is high maintainence, firstly she needs an endless supply of tea in order to function. Secondly she has to be wined and dined regular and eats more potato chips than any other women in the world.

AND WHEN SHE GETS MAD LOOK OUT, RUN AND FAST. I usually make my escape because she can't run very fast. Fortunately she has a short memory so by the time I get back she has cooled off and I get to live another day.

But to stay on topic at least she can tote heavy diecast collections so I guess I am lucky.

Unfortunatly, I had to make that decision and it was my Avro Lancaster "Rhodesia". But next time forget packing clothes, I"ll start packing my planes.. can always replace clothes but my planes some are too hard to come by.......

How long did they give you to get out. The stories I was hearing were that some people had literally minutes to pack up and leave.

If there were wild fires within 100 miles of my house, I would be packed and ready to go - just in case!
