Not a good thing to come into work to

So I come into work this morning to find on my desk that my 1:48 F-16 anf F-86 and my 1:144 C-97 had all been broken. The F-16 had the pitot broke in half with the F-86 having one of the wingtip tanks busted. As for the C-97 it had the stand broken off in it and there's a nice scratch on the nose of the plane. So needless to say I gave the company that cleans our building a call but still not cool

Re: Not a good thing to come into work to

Sorry to hear your plight man....
I came into work one day to find my planes re-arranged, but undamaged, apparently, a janitor decided to dust my shelf..
The next day, I politely asked her NOT to dust my shelf as I would take care of it....

Sounds like some co-worker had his kids turned loose on your cubicle! It has happened to me as well, though I'm glad it's some cheapy diecasts models I have on display. At any rate, I feel your pain, and just because those are the cheap kind (well, in my case anyway) you get a weird feeling of being violated in your own space. Hope yours get straightened out. Good luck!

I have extra refueling booms for the C-97 if you need one. PM me if you'd like one- no cost.

I had thought of taking one of my planes to work to have on my desk but we somtimes share here so I did not want someone picking up my stuff and doing god only knows what with it. Sorry to hear that your stuff got broke, some people can not respect other peoples stuff these days, makes me mad

Re: Not a good thing to come into work to

Bad news Tyler. Sorry to hear that. I'm with Tanknut in so far as not taking stuff into work but having seen how people handle models and some other sensitive stuff, I think that they often just don't appreciate how fragile model are. Maybe it's not the they disrespect others stuff, they just don't know better and may even be trying to be of service. Just a thought.

Ouch! Like President Clinton, I feel your pain. I have several diecast planes here at work myself; fortunately no incidents so far...
(In my part of the world, I worry less about careless coworkers or cleaners than the inevitable earthquake, which will decimate my collection.)

Re: Not a good thing to come into work to

Too bad, Tyler, sorry about this whole episode. I've been tempted to take in some diecast to the office.....but I don't think I'll do it.
