Having lived in Boston and Colorado I'm in a win-win, also considering the miraculous 2004 playoffs that I don't think can be bested in my lifetime for the best moment in sports (for me). I say Sox in 6 -- Rockies streak just can't continue, they've been playing above themselves for weeks now and a nice 8 day stoppage of play and some cool snow's gonna cool 'em right off I'm afraid  I'd love to see the Sox go down 0-3 and come back to win in 7 though | |||||||||||||

| Re: World Series Thanks Rush....Like Pappy, I'm going with 'Sox in Six'.....I don't think it's going to be easy, but I am hoping the Rockies' bats have had a chance to cool down some!....should be interesting. Unfortunately it's looking like it may be a washout tonight...  unlike Pappy however, I don't want to see Boston drop the first 3.......my heart can't take it. | |||||||||||||

| Re: World Series This is a replay of last year, but with different teams. The Tigers, the wild card entry, swept away their opponents, then sat around waiting for the Cardinals to kick their butts. I think the Rockies will be ice-cold and the Sox will benefit from this. Red Sox in 5. Larz | |||||||||||||

| Re: World Series Sorry got to buck the trend here and go with the Rockies. (Not sure why - but the pin stripes are cool!!) With my luck in sports lately though the Socks will sweep it (England loosing the Rugby W-C final, Hamilton loosing the F1 World championship by 1 point last weekend, and then of course the Indians loosing that lead.) | |||||||||||||
