| Canadian museum. A friend of mine called Howard Cook has been telling me about a museum in Canada that he goes over to. The museum is called Vintage Wings of Canada, its in Ottawa at Gatineau airport. Howard will be doing some flying for them during this year, I think he will be flying the Hurricane but not sure. I have been looking on the museums site and I noted they have some great aircraft there. The site is excellent and worth viewing. They have a full history of all the aircraft. Sadly at the moment it is not open to the general public but they will take groups around for an in depth look see! This is a place thats set up well and will go from strength to strength so for all you Canucks out there its a place to watch out for. | |||||||||||||

| Holy cow jim, I wish I had of seen this place when I was last up there this past march. I have been to warplane heritage twice and just love the place but man I would love to see this place too!!!! I am down in New bruswick canada and we don't have to many old warbirds much let alone any that fly like these do. I have seen a p51 fly at an airshow down here some years ago, but those guys in ontario are just so lucky lol. I just got off there site and man they have some nice stuff, thanks for that man and take care!! | |||||||||||||

| This is one terrific aircraft museum. Our cottage on the St. Lawrence is only about one and a half hours from Ottawa. I''ve visited the museum at least three times, and have loved every minute I've spent there. A few years ago, when I was much more limber and could climb onto the lower wing and into the front cockpit, I flew over Ottawa and Hull in a Stearman. What a ride. ![]() | |||||||||||||
