| Hi folks, I heard of an Classic Armor 1/48 AH-6 "Little Bird" and Italian AF version. Does anybody have them? I was wondering about quality issues, detail grade and so on... From what I've seen they look promising and would make a nice addition to my 1/48 helos from FM/A. AA | |||||||||||||

| Re: Classic Armor 1/48 AH-6 any good?
I believe it's actually an MD500 Defender II that they are attempting to pass off as an AH-6. Some fairly significant differences between the two sink this on as far as accuracy is concerned. | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Classic Armor 1/48 AH-6 any good? I recently got the AH-6 Little Bird and the Italian camo version in 1/48 scale. So far I ony unpacked the US Army AH-6. I like it, it's no "high-class" diecast regarding accuracy but pretty neat nevertheless. It's a nice addition to my 1/48 helicopter collection. These models are manufactured by New Millenium Toys (a subsidary of 21st Century Toys) an the name of the line is "Iron Horses". The AH-6 comes with a M1025 Command Vehicle with a TOW-Launcher on top. Also in 1/48 scale. I want to use this one for a diorama. Overall they are nice enough for a small price. Higly recommend!
