Re: How's Your Russian Air Force?

My Russian Air Force is sadly lacking. I would love a Yak3 or 9, La 5 or 7 and a IL2 but don't have any at the moment. I've considered IXO but haven't been able make myself do it. I'd really like to get something thats better quality.

IXO : Yak-9 , Mig-3 , Polyk. 1-16 , Yak-3 , La-7 , IL-10 and IL-2

Easy Model : Yak-9 , Mig-3 and the Russian camo. Hawker Hurricane

Re: How's Your Russian Air Force?

It's a shame I haven't any WWII iconic Russian warbirds in my collection yet, but if Hobby Master makes them in 1/48 - particularly the IL2...I'd be first in line to buy them!

Yep, I'm ready to drop serious money any day someone releases Russian WW II planes in 1/48. Their absence from this market is a real shame. I mean, come on, at least the IL-2 and Yak 3/9, for goddness' sake!

Re: How's Your Russian Air Force?

Sorry but all I have is the Easy Model P40.

As soon as the better manufactures make some I will be buying but not until then.

It seems a little odd that Corgi has not made any yet, judging by the number of post asking for them. It seems to me to be a profitable area for Corgi to get into.
Oh well!

God Bless America.

Unhappy Re: How's Your Russian Air Force?

Not much my side either. I have the IXO Polikarpov and Gaincorp Su 32FN, Su 27 and Su 33. I recently saw some Easy Models for the first time and I think you can tell they're not diecast. I was tempted by the only Mig 3 they had, white 5, but the canopy wasn't properly fitted so I left it.
